Welcome to the 52-Week Children’s Bible Curriculum
These lessons are designed to help children ages 5–11 know who God is, why the Bible can be trusted, and how every part of Scripture points to Jesus Christ.
This is not a collection of disconnected lessons. It is one unified journey through the Bible—from Genesis to Revelation—showing God’s faithful plan to rescue, redeem, and restore through His Son.
“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.”
— 2 Timothy 3:16
What These Lessons Are
Each weekly lesson is:
Chronological – Helping children understand where each passage fits in God’s big story
Christ-Centered – Every lesson points clearly to Jesus: our Savior, Sanctifier, Healer, and Coming King
Scripture-Faithful – Rooted in the truth that the Bible is God’s trustworthy Word
Age-Appropriate – Written to be understood by children, without watering down truth
Apologetics-Aware – Gently equipping children to answer common questions with confidence and faith
Children will learn that the Bible is made up of 66 books, written by over 40 authors, yet tells one unified story—God’s story of love and redemption through Jesus.
“Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.”
— Psalm 119:105
How the Lessons Work
Each lesson is built for a 10-minute teaching window and includes:
A clear Big Idea rooted in Scripture
A short memory verse children can carry with them
A warm, engaging lesson narrative that explains the Bible passage clearly
Life application that connects truth to a child’s everyday world
A simple defending-the-truth moment that answers a common question kids ask
Discussion questions and a low-supply activity
A parent take-home sheet to continue discipleship beyond Sunday
Every lesson reinforces these foundational truths:
The Bible is true
God is one God in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit
Jesus loves children
Jesus died on the cross and rose again so we can be forgiven and saved
“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.”
— Hebrews 13:8
Best Practices for Teachers
You do not need to be a Bible expert to teach these lessons. You simply need to be faithful.
Before class:
Read the lesson and pray for the children by name. Do this multiple times as you prepare to share God's Word with the children.
Familiarize yourself with the Scripture passage
Trust that God’s Word will do the work
During class:
Teach with warmth, confidence, and clarity
Read Scripture aloud when prompted
Invite children to ask questions without fear
Keep Jesus at the center of every explanation
After class:
Encourage families to use the take-home sheet
Remember that spiritual growth happens over time
Trust God with the results
“Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”
— Matthew 19:14
Our Prayer
Our prayer is that through these lessons, children will:
Learn to trust God’s Word
Grow in love for Jesus
Develop confidence in what they believe
Begin a lifelong walk of faith
“So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.”
— Romans 10:17
Thank you for serving faithfully. God is using you to plant seeds that will last forever.
